mistake

In 2010 Erik gave me this wonderful slab. I knew immediately that only an outstanding group should be placed onto it. In June of this year I made up my mind to plant these tow groups together. Now is the best time to repot spruce. The result is, of course, only an intermediate stage. Next summer, when the trees look healthy I will finally wire the whole thing. This is going to take a week.

Beautiful. But what was the mistake in that last pot, Walter?

I wonder what you mean. Should you mean 'what was wrong with the two groups in their old pots?' then the answer is 'nothing, only together on the new slab they look so much better'. The two groups were OK in th original pots and now the slab makes them something very special.
It's like wondering why a girl would dress up for the evening and not wear what she wore all day because that looked fine.

Walter, I think he was referring to the prior post that you (in a way) deleted and marked "mistake".

OK, what's the difference between pot and post. Well just an 's'.

Anyway, I made a mistake and posted the same thing twice.

Really beautiful slab Eric, and will be a very nice forest planting Walter once wired and pruned. And Eric, I'm making my first slab right now, and yours, well, makes me feel like I'm a first grader painting watercolors with my fingers and you paint like Rembrant lol Fantastic inspiration for me!
