Wirral Bonsai Show 2010
I’ve just got back from the Wirral Bonsai Club show here in NW England and once again, the show was a real treat. The quality of trees was very good as always as was the banter and the company (including a few IBC’ers!). I almost won a prize for taking the longest to vote for my favourite tree, but I blame the high quality of the candidates!
I’ll post a few pics of some of the trees on display, maybe someone can fill the gaps of ones I missed.
If you’re able to get to Gordale garden centre over the weekend, I’m sure the Wirral group would be delighted to see you there.
Matt.

Apologies if I've mis-named anything, please feel free to correct me!

Hi folks...
Took a trip to the Wirral show this morning. There was again a great selection of trees on show. Took a few photo's for reference
some of the smaller trees caught my eye more so than the larger ones!!
Great show .... Cheers!

I took a break from building and was very glad that I had. The Wirral show gets better every year and is attracting enthusiasts from far and wide as word spreads. Defiinitely one of the top British bonsai clubs. There will be duplicates here but I tried to capture the settings, accents and scrolls.

What a great show.Well done to the Wiiral crew !.I usually favour the large trees with lots of deadwood etc.I was surprised this year as I was drawn to Bill's fantastic Shohin Juniper. It looked great from all angles. It was difficult to pick a favourite as all trees were Beautifully presented...EXCELLENT SHOW !

Agree with absolutely everything Andy has said - especially the being gutted about not being there.
