I have met Stone Monkey before at Bath but didn't really get the chance for a chat. I knew he would be at Bushukan bonsai today, so I made a point of meeting up with him.

Got a few shots of his throwing demo.

There was lots of interest and Andy's passion is very obvious.

Andy's stand was covered in very beautiful pots, all of which I would gladly have gracing my benches.I love to see passion in people and Andy has this in spades!! Very inclusive, easy to talk to and very open about his craft (gave me a few tips). I came away with a couple of his pots too.

I'm so glad I got the chance to have a few hours with this superb artist and look forward to meeting him again.

Great to see Andy at work. Completely agree with you Will, lovely guy, excellent pots. Thanks for posting.

I knew the snoring had to come out a one point oh well my secret is out. As a result of bad snoring there is a fabled legend that out in the great wide world, somewhere there is one unique never to be repeated, "Snore Monkey" pot

On topic: yes Andy is one of the best potters in the UK, I think he knows I am a big fan of him and his pots.
