You are working on my favorite bonsai!! the one in the middle and in the blue pot have good trunks what i can see... i would do some pruning to open them up some so you can see the structure of the limbs and the rest of the trunks.. how long have you had them and been working with the trees??? the other ones are young looking but that is ok you have to start some where.... post some more when the whole tree can be seen.. good job keep going john in west virginia

Try to take the pictures at eye level.
One thing some of us don't notice. The natural canopy of a Chinese elm is as round as a lollipop. Don't style it with a narrow apex like a pine tree. I got beat up for this here.

I bring them in for the winter and leave them in there pots I have my basement set up with daylight lights

I trust your basement is cold enough for them to go dormant. Otherwise you are asking for trouble. When they go dormant, the leaves will turn yellow & eventually fall off. They won't need light until spring.

last year they never ent dormant and i used to live in florida and they never go dormant what kind of trouble
