hmmm... sorry the earliest pic is the second that you see it was taken one year before the actual one.
Yes the work was mine but actually this tree was nearly like a natural bonsai, it shows how important it is to cut the right way and patience makes the rest...

The only thing that would concern me is the weakness of the bottom branch. There seems to be a lot of strength at the top. Maybe if the top was thinned it would help balance the strength all over.

Smile i agree with this theory! what you cannot see on this pictures is that the tree was able to grow a full year without being pruned and it gained a lot of strengh in this time. i removed nearly 2/3 of all the green at the top and also some bigger branches for the elegance of the shape. i will post some more fotos of this one
