what is lead branch technique?
last year best in show in pangasinan city phillipines is pemphis acidula bonsai..the owner said that he trained his prized pemphis bonsai for three years using the lead branch technique. this is the first time that ive heard this kind of technique could somebody explain this kind of technique..thank you.

Probably just hanging heavy lead fishing sinkers from the branches to pull them down.

Oh my. Calling me "sir" makes me feel older than I am -- which is hard to do . . .
I'd never heard of it being called a "lead branch technique" either, but it just seems the most likely alternative.
