Thank You all.
Andy, I don´t plan these to be glazed. But I´m thinking about a little bigger one and glazed. And then I have a problem - I´m not sure if I have a glaze good enough for such a proud princess Rolling Eyes Very Happy

I was punished for my blasphemous behavior. I shouldn´t share pictures of green pots.
I had another accident, in today´s bisque firing. I still don´t know the extent of damage. I´ll open the kiln tomorrow.
The fire chamber is divided in two. There were some few papers and twigs in both.
One started slowly to burn, the other not. It seemed like the first part´s smoke is going out through the second part of firing place.
But suddenly both chambers started to burn, it was like an explosion. Yes, many explosions I´ve heard, from the inside... I hope that every other explosion wasn´t from another and another pot... Confused Sad

Tom

Dale and I have the same philosophy and paranoia about showing green ware, eh Dale? So beware the Evil Green Ware God who has no shame in taking his share of the kiln load Twisted Evil Hope your losses are not too bad, I know how bad it feels when this happens especially when they are commission pots Mad

Andy, thank You. The EGG (Evil Greenware God Very Happy ) reached for the greatest damage - the big commission pot, first strike in the flames. There is some small damage on a few pots, but nothing that bad. The best pot survived.
It is even better than "proud princess" - which survived too. Ok, let´s go on :-)

Almost last pots from last firing.
I LOVE this one just as much as the author is allowed to say something like that about his own work Cool

Hey Tom, you are definitely on to something here-

Looking at your clay body and rustic looking hue that comes out from your firing, I would have to say that you are headed in the right direction.

My thoughts, FWIW:

The first pot I think seems a bit forced for the form you are representing, but the second pot works very nice as well as does the third. I just think the style of pot would be better represented in a finer clay. What do you think?

Now, may I say something about the princess pot? I love it Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I could see that one in a museum somewhere.

Nice innovation and freshness. Keep it up, huh?

Very Happy

Hi Rob,

You´re completely right about the first pot. These tiny (11.5cm, 4.5in) pots are not that good looking when made of my coarse clay. I´m going to buy another lump of clay. And it´s not just about the look, especially the detail work on tiny pots is not easy. These feet are the smallest I´m able to make out of this clay. The Princess is made of fine clay, which I bought for first time.

Rob, You can also advice me what to say next time, when the pot will be made of fine clay Very Happy
And thank You.

Thank You guys. This is great encouragement for me and that´s what I need this time... I still don´t understand my kiln enough - so I have some pots to refire. I just have to build pots to fill my kiln again, for a new "try´n´observe´n´learn" round Smile

This time there was no problem with the kiln, fortunately. That was joy to unload it.
I was looking forward so much for some of the pots. ALL of them came to a good and better Cool result.
Just some 4 pots in the area close to chimney need refiring.
