Hi friends!

The problem with the picture goes to small display on one of my computers.

Andy, happy to have met You too, but it was too short. I hope next time I'll have more time to talk to You, maybe on the evening party :-) Last time I had to rest instead.

Paul, yes, I fire with wood. This was my 16th firing and I still learn to work with my "Beast". This time I was a succesful jockey. Maybe I've learned something. And I found that my kiln runs like a beast even when eating an old, little wet and little rotten 10-11 old wood! And the pile of wood is still big. Have to build the same pile of pots :-).

Tomas - Your son is maybe still just watching and then he'll show us! My friend didn't speak to his age of 3. His parents were afraid. But suddenly he said a long complicated sentence. The surprised parents asked, why didn't say anything before. He said "I had nothing to say".

To all - thank You for comments on my shapes, feet, finishes.
Sometimes it is possible to try something new, then comes period of reproducing, improving skills and procedure. I can't stop to make lotus pots, that work pleases me.

Bravissimo Tom.
Are you a good potter, the lotus flower vases I like a lot, who knows that ....

Tom Benda wrote:Having not posted here a long time, I have to show You some few pots, which made me satisfied :-)
First of all, my little daughter's work, made around her 5th birthday, maybe sooner, not later.
I love the front side wall, it's so nice pot, it makes me almost happy-crying!

I've got a little problem with my camera and my brother's camera is "supersonic", nothing for me.
Unfortunately, colours are not true.
That's bad especially for this one - the glaze is beautiful dark blue, thin, a little glossy. Looks like very old original blue decorated pot :-)

Now two pots of same design and sizes, different clay and finish.
I tried some new lotus with "my" backrolled feet:

I tried "decentralized", assymetric rose flower like shaped feet, two leaves.

Having not enough lotus pots, which I really love to build, I tried to apply one of my designs here:

How did this get into my kiln? I think the bell glass cover melted and nothing could survive inside. Or... ?!

Beautiful lovely shohin size:

And I had to build this classic, I was thinking about it for a long period.
The biggest classic I ever made. An the sound out of it! We are at the same wave with this pot. He answers me, when I'm talking!

I had really great feelings, when opening my kiln this time. I'm still full of it, it goes through my whole body, giving me maybe more power and energy than I am able to give now! Very Happy

P.S.: Is the allowed width of the pics 800 pixels? I thought so, but, the pictures miss some of their right sides...
