KAWA's Joy of Bonsai

Getting ready for a show is always such a task. I just finished glaze firing 34+ pieces, photographing them, logging them, and pricing them. I never seem to remember everything. I wasn't expecting to be posting my new pots here yet, but I have a couple to share:

A stained drum, 10" across...



and a shohin oval with a glaze I am in love with...

Here is a medium sized two toned oval currently in the exhibit. The pot is now the home of one of my Black Olives, in a cascading style. I will post a pic in the Bonsai Forum later...

The glaze on this one could have been a bit thicker for my personal taste, but I still think it has some grace. I have been doing a large amount of dipping versus spraying or brushing glazes this time.
