please help me identify this specoies I found near seashore Bengal,India

Oh my - you have given us quite a task. It will be very hard to identify with only leaves. Can you possibly post pictures of flowers and/or fruits?

Because this tree has opposite leaves, I am certain that it is not a Ficus.

Yes,I forgot about that,David.As well,I wikid it and the leaves are cordate with long point apexes.Could the OP supply a photo with no insect damage and the length of a branch?
