Well, that's it I am done
Folks,
it's been great being here, but I am done.
I have been having that dream my mind gives me when I have enough to no longer seek information.
Happened a while back with oil painting technique. Once I gathered up enough science, and removed my teachers fantasies - resins.
Painting became intuitive and extremely enjoyable.
With jewellery, I have still to learn carving and then that's that.
As bonsai goes, it is just when is the correct time to do x to the J.B.pine [ as our climate goes ].
I am content to let my trees age.
So the process of choosing the ones I love the most, and trying to stop saving cuttings begins. Cuttings / seeds are always potentials.
I will pass by fewer and fewer times until I am gone.
Incidentally, I am no longer on any Art Forums, and IBC was one of the first lists I joined, back in 98 or so.
It is more or less that last list I still visit.
Laters.

Re: Well, that's it I am done
Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha, drew a circle with a piece of red chalk and said:
"When men, even unknowingly, are to meet one day, whatever may befall each, whatever the diverging paths, on the said day, they will inevitably come together in the red circle."
This is apparently a "misattributed quote", but I like to think that it contains a form of truth.
So I think that we'll meet again, and I'll be very happy.
Pop in now and then Â

Ha Ha Thanks Alain,
That is just what I have I have been doing.
Andre', your back again, missed your - hihihihihihihi
The site has lost it's tropical folk, no Jun or others.
It's sad and lonely.
Kevin, keeps trying to egg me on, but ..................................
But seriously, the only tree I am having problems with is the J.B.pine, and if I am lucky, I will solve that in that in the next few months.
Maarten, it is good to see young blood, but now we wait for you to get married and have children, to see if the Bonsai lasts.
On our side, once the wife shows up, that's it.
So folk like me lose interest in helping young folk.
I may along with a few friends be purchasing some acreage, and I get to return to bees, cocoa and the wild.
Wish me well.

Yes, this is true.
No Yvonne, no Khaimraj in a while and it will be lonelier.
FB and the rest social media seem to conquer.
Fiona, Jim, Iris seldom seen...
That's life. Lonely. Â
... ... ... ...
Wish me well.
I wish you the best!

Alexandria,
I left an olive image for you in the Member's Trees.
Ah, but you don't get away that easily, I believe I have your telephone number - yes ?
If I have your number, it's a call every 3 months or so.
You are doomed
Later.

Re: Well, that's it I am done
I will definitely be glad to talk with you
Why is it that I cannot see all of your photos posted in your personal gallery or elsewhere? Some of them are there for me and some are not presented
Moreover, will you please post the link to your olive because I couldn't track it no matter my search for it...
Thank you!
P.S.: I hope you will read this before you are really gone from here

Wowww not too fast! The wife can wait for a while, and kids hopefully for a decade, but when time comes, I'll lrt you guys know! Better start saving for a kennel already, to stop them from running around and bump/cut daddy's trees!
Have the best K!

Hi LLB and IBC friends.
As a guest yesterday, I saw your post and some posts of old friends here from david C. thread.
I left IBC after some bashings I got from a fellow here, then he followed me even outside of IBC.
But, after cooling down a bit and after seeing some concerns of my friends here, I think it is still OK to revisit IBC.
I hope I can contribute again to IBC and help in sharing "love and light (like Andre- hehe)" for all of us here.
Happy Bonsai to all!
...and Yes, I made a lot of bonsai and penjing while I am away, and will share them soon.
regards,
jun

Yes, welcome back jun! See Khaimjaj, he is back! And don't forget, I am a tropical guy too. I may not post a great deal but I check out IBC posts everyday. It would be a great pity if all there was left of bonsai forums was BNut.
