Speed Bonsai

Please don't tell my wife or my boss that I can move this fast!!
The material is newly collected Water Elm, Planera aquatica. The soil medium is straight turface. This is just a beginning for this forest. The first step is to establish the tress in the pot. Then, the work will focus on building ramifications. I guess it will take at least 8-10 years before this composition really begins to develop good character.
