Maple Identification Empty Maple Identification

I started some seeds that i picked up, already sprouted, outside my house. I believe most of the maples in the area are Norway Maples. All of the new trees are the same except one which has purple on the bottoms of its leaves, im just wondering is this could be a sugar maple?

That doesn't look like a Norway maple to me. Mature Norway maple have very distinct lobes. But then, the first two leaves of most trees don't look like adult leaves, either.

These are very young. Try another picture when there are 6-7 leaves out on each plant.

Will do Jim, I hear sycamores are common around too.

Jim is certainly right - it is very hard to identify species from their first true leaves, a picture in a month of two will help greatly. Also, they are going to need more root room fast. As to the color variance you have, that is not unusual in seedling maples. But these are certainly maples and certainly not sycamores it that helps at least.
