An Iconic first official meeting of the Norbilly Bonsai Confederation resheduled due to nasty storm

An Iconic first official meeting of the Norbilly Bonsai Confederation is scheduled to take place on the week end of March 8th.
Two of the Norbilly masters will be spending the week end in concentrated artistic enterprise at the remote Crust bonsai compound.

Severson, the renown Bonsai brute from Duluth,MN, will be working some sacred trees he will be bring along in his new collecting jalopy.
Severson is known for his decisive moves, ruthless analysis and his evil discerning eye—surely he will doing some scary innovative work.

Crust, a local Minnesota tree terror, will be doing some tree tearing of his own. Bolt cutters, auto gouges and die grinders will be wielded—smoke shall rise, delicacy will be left on the floor.
Side by side, these two clowns will not only dynamically dish into some cool northern trees but also will be entertaining each other with random philosophic rambling and IPA consumption.
Pounds of wire will be cut, important branches snapped, clumsiness will be adored and preserved—detailed reports of the upcoming inanity to follow soon after!

Can't wait for photos!

John (SC) & Jim (NC) should establish a southern counterpart to the Norbilly Confederation-- the Sowbelly Bonsai Confederation.  I'd love to seeing the Gamecock & Tar Heel mixing it up, bonsai-wise... :-)  Then, the Billy(s) & Belly(s) could have at it, Makita-to-Makita.

Life overwhelmed me after the grand Norbilly Bonsai Confederations first bash but at long-last I have recovered enough to share some of the pics of the trees worked. Despite the weekend being a frozen one, Severson and I drug in the bushes and got busy. Much fun was had. Much food was eaten. Butchery was conducted.
