horizontal elm over rock
Hi IBC friends, this elm wants to be bold someday despite its lack of whatever character.
the raw tree
the elm holding on to the rock well. i removed most of the big roots, and keep just two primary roots one for the front and another one at the back to clasp the rock. keeping most of the hair roots of the two big roots.
some detail, the powdery brown color at the base is my favorite fertilizer for root development...natural bat guano/manure.
regards,
jun

Re: horizontal elm over rock
Is the tree in the first picture the same tree as the second and third photos?
