do you see? what i see?
White color in river water has always called to me.
sometimes if i look closely i can pull image from my past.
but this time i saw this very same scene just moments before.
pictures in stone, nature is an awesome thing...
was not quick enough with camera, better yet in stone...

Hi Stonener,
They are very beautiful stones. Specially, The red stone is my favourite. He looks like a Fire God who brought fire to human life. Strong impression.

Re: do you see? what i see?
Hello Stonener.
Thank you for showing.
The last one gives an image of a standing figure,
wrapping a robe around himself, because of the pale face it reminds me of those ghostlike creatures
in Japanese stories.
The red stone is special and i feel with Huu Hiep that it has fire, again you show us a stone with lovely color.
This fire stone will be great on a daiza.
The first stone gives me the flash of the fishing bird, did you recognised yourself as a stone collector in this image?

Thank You both for responding,
My Friends!
YES, Yes & yes...
Hi Sunip I am a collector,
but mostly of rocks!
my wife tells me! I've got them in my head!
but few are suiseki. I go for the colors mostly.
Hi Ms Yvonne! We agree totally!
you're right on, see what I see exactly!
Thank You for the red lines that guide eyes,
and your affirmation.

Re: do you see? what I see?
OK Ms Yvonne!
That's exactly how it was for me too...
So then, Now that you got my attention!
What is a daruma greeting? Please share...
OK Sunip as you say!
But not sure just how or what kind of daiza?
I see three large birds flying in formation,
at sunset turing a lighting storm off the California Coast.
so view is straight down, flat like a pancake...

Re: do you see? what i see?
Hello,
Namaste...... to the Daruma within you.
Yes birds in a fiery sky, an image i have as well but there is much more in the mystery of this stone,
i am still looking at the green eye they carry with them in the middle.
Here a first impression of a possible daiza, what do you feel about the idea?
I tilted the stone a bit contra clockwise.

Re: do you see? what i see?
WoW! that's even better!
I see more in this orientation of all...
Looks like geese coming in for a landing,
bare birch trees in fore ground,
snow on mountain top,
turbulent fast flowing icy river water.
bright red plays out the best in this view,
as late fall foliage in setting sun light...

Re: do you see? what i see?
Ever read the story Stone Soup, by Jon J. Muth? How big is the stone...If it is larger just the stone and scroll with landscape scene mountain looking into a valley village...
Just an idea, but probably a crazy one.

Re: do you see? what i see?
Very interesting Sunip!
I had not seen that, but yes he is there!
Now seen thought your eyes!, nice.
I like dogs, so see a brown and white Cocker Spaniel,
with white furry head, chest and back.
If seen as before, hint was "dark!"
You my friend added "eyes" large to catch poor light
as animal using them at night?
So I will add another hint here "beak"...
