Re: do you see? what i see?
Sunip my friend!
great fun to see what you do!...
and then say what I see!
both different but very good.
I do not know how to use red arrows
so words and maybe a couple of pictures?
For me in this stone
I saw...
What we heard then saw, an owl up in a tall pine tree,
by camp fire light, after all day river stone hunt.,,,
after you changed orientation of stone,
I saw what you suggested and then the dog!
1st Indian face you see in white, I see as dog face.
with furry white chest below
2nd Cat you see, me as hair. I see as large floppy dog ear.
in red area below ear is dog's shoulder,
then white fur on it's back.
As you say I see the Old India Chief...
long lose straight down hair
3rd bear craws necklace seen at his chest.
4th next red area under hair is bear fur shoulder patch,
on white wool blanket seen around chest and then on his back.
1st 2nd 3rd 4th
Thank You my friend for your time & your minds eye...

I have been told this stone is a mix of garnet, jasper, jade & serpentine,
Material Named "Heart Stone" not photo shopped or oiled.
It is completely natural just picked up, exactly as found in flowing water in the river
Gracias! Mis Tres Amigos; Jim, Ken & Donny for the good times...

Re: do you see? what i see?
What a question
I like them all, but not the two first standing up.
I think I decided for the nr. 3, as it looks like a kind of seat, I can sit on-...or my eyes can rest on, without falling dawn or off...
Kind regards Yvonne

Did you just make this daiza Stonener? That was quick. hihi
I love your stone, you say there is garnet, jade and jasper in it? Wow! I also see the man sitting on top, his face almost looks three dimensional, the way the shading falls onto the face....
You know I have a thing for Garnets........ its the colour of a beautifull Shiraz Wine, I can almost taste the bouquet.... dry, nutty fruit, with a hint of Jade and vanilla
I think your stone will look Stunning on top of my Garnet sand in Yvonne's bronze doban. ooooo can you imagine!
Your Daiza is beautifully made.
Love and light

Thank You everyone for your time!
and effort to share, helping us all to learn!
Viewing stones say different things to many people...
My Friend Hung! Yes much fun!.
You have a sharp eye and a good imagination also.
now see my grandfather with empty beer cans in his favorite chair...
asleep with the Television on...
I saw old mother hen, who's eggs I could not find before school every morning!
now shows up with many baby chicks, some riding on her back...

*childhood memories*
Ms Yvonne, yours was my first idea,...
I lift my eye's up! unto the mountains!
"were does my help come from"...

*but no butts please*...
Hey Davidpf
OH Ya! I'm always hungry too!...
Great land alright! Add cheese, bread & fruit!
to that Ham and Olive's, please...
the stone you mention now looks like a Louisiana Hot link,
with Texas chilli on it, yum!
Stonener
*bon-appetite*
HEY DRE!...
I'd take a bullet for some of that sand, really!
Just enough to fill my doban about 5gals. please!
I see two other men not mentioned, 1 sitting & 1 standing.
Yes I made the Daiza? as fast as I could, lick-ka-tty split
then forgot it in the trunk of car before meeting started.
my friend Steve and I both though the other had it!

Re: do you see? what i see?
Hello Stonener,
Outstanding find.
You are really lucky to have access to such type of stone.
The upright positioning gives me an image of a figure in the wind.
The second landscape version is ver evocative as well, mother earth flowing magma.
The daiza stops for me the movement of the shape of the stone a bit,
how about this possibility?

I "hear" you Dick!
I do a little jig and dance around like a fool!...
some times yell "GOAAAAAAAAAL" out loud and scare the wife!
I agree! that was one of the First orientations I really liked too...
both rejected by someone else, at the very start! which really surprised me, no end.
Saw a Golfer's swing or Samuri stances or my school Nun chasing me with a ruler in her hand.
your references to an American melody prospective are meaningful, something I want to develop
and further explorer...
#4 I see as a gaint humming bird, hatched in my yard to good parents,
who drank from my feeders all day long and then both fed their one chick.
who grow twice the size of the parents, more beautiful and very aggressive,
guarding feeders all the time, keeping every drop for himself.

Yes my friend exactly as you say! I owe it all to,
Nature man Ken Mcleod www.suisekistones.com
my best friend and stone Sensei forever.
This is from his very secret collecting spot, not many can go.
Thank You for the daiza suggestion! always greatly appreciated!...
as I have others to make for the same stone,I will keep in mind your idea...
IMHO and again this is ONLY my opinion.
I have trouble with the duck feet, for a large heavy landscape stone...
I understand very traditional, but struggle to find an American theme.
What I call "Lazy Legs" I have been told! look exactly as that "LAZY!"
Have been told to get back to work! hard to keep an open mind for some!...
IMHO these not only support the 55lb stone physically but visually as well
Feet as you picture give me the impression of movement, dancing, airiness.
wider solid flat feet give a more stable, grounding feeling, good for mountains...
Again please do not misunderstand me, as others might! I see your way fine!.
and mention only as other point of view!, even if "ONLY" for me...
Yes Sunip! "Against the Wind" as you say!
[img][/img]
For me a great struggle seen, as collecting firewood in the snow and wind at 4am for the stove,
breakfast 1st thing on the ranch. Grandma in her hood and long coat starts her day...

TAKE 2-BINGO! Davidpf...
IMHO This is the most powerful orientation of this stone, up right, one i want to project!
can be seen in many ways, brings to mind many different feelings, to old and new alike.
"Keeper of the Spirit"
The Samurai warrior protector, Guarding our home, keeping away evil spirits.
but can also be seen as other images, in our minds, good or sad...
sister "Mary Santeria", golfer "Tiger Woods", Grandmother "Abuelita" or "NaNa",
the "Monk" or "cardinal" etc. etc. Only thing limiting us is our imaginations...

I was surprised when you said "I like them all except the first two standing up"...
I am delighted you've changed your mind "a women's prerogative" and can now see the image clearly projected.
I too like the Colors a lot, but IMHO more so! because it's a Vertical Stone! and then a Figure! most of all...
as you say in PM to me "some think you do a good job" and so did I...

Re: do you see? what i see?
Hi Stonener... Thanks for sharing. When I saw it earlier & then, again, your deep red stone looked to hold a vortex pattern. For me, it would recall a tornado if adjusted with a small foot on the ground with a widening column rising. As in your photo, here...
The experience of violence in calm is well-expressed by the brilliant red color representing still air that is charged with anticipation.
