Eda Uchi Kai Bonsai Ten 2013

Bonsai Club Eda Uchi Kai from Belgium will organise it's second Bonsai Ten in the club history. It will be an all-in event with many spectacular bonsai, demonstrations by famous artists, and an international bonsai marketplace, in one weekend.



Place: Community center Lutselus in Diepenbeek. (Address: Pastorijstraat 7)

Date: 31 november/ 1 december 2013

The headliners for a demonstration at this event will be: Viriato Oliveira (PT), Márcio Meruje (PT), François Jeker (FR), Kevin Willson (UK), Enrico Savini (IT). Setup of this exhibition will be arranged by Mario Komsta, who will also will do a guided tour of the exhibition. Mario will also bring some trees of his collection, which will be shown in a special setup together with some trees of the private collection of Jean-Paul Polmans.

Graphic artist Fukiko Yamamoto from Tokyo has agreed to make the design for our flyer/poster, which should be ready before march 2013. Yes indeed, Tony Tickle will also be present as a trader at our Eda Uchi Kai Bonsai Ten 2013. Tom Benda has also confirmed to come over as trader with his beautiful bonsai pots. So it will be not only a nice bonsai show, but there will also be good demo's and a great opportunity to do some serious bonsai shopping at our bonsai marketplace!!!

Kevin will not be able to be a demonstrator this year, I have been asked to step into my friends shoes and make a demo/lecture.

That is correct Tony, due to circumstances, Kevin Willson has canceled his demonstration at the EUK TEN 2013. He will be replaced by Tony Tickle, who will also be present at the Eda Uchi Kai Ten as a trader. And Eda Uchi Kai is also negotiating to get another 'special guest' at this exhibition. We hope to spread some more good news about this soon...

Bonsai Club Eda Uchi Kai is proud to announce that also Mark & Ritta Cooper from the UK also will come over to our exhibition, to do a lecture/demo about shohin bonsai & kusamono!!!

You all know Mark & Ritta as the winners of the best shohin presentation at the previous Noelanders Trophy...

Just one week before the Eda Uchi Kai Bonsai Ten 2013!!! On our website, you can find our program for the weekend, the list of demonstrators, and all traders on our marketplace...

Still having doubts to come over? Mario Komsta will also do a few guided tours of the exhibition, where he will tell you more about the exhibited trees. Mark Cooper will do a lecture about shohin bonsai, and his wife Ritta will do the same about kusamono. Tony Tickle will also give a lecture about hawhtorns, and there will be demonstrations through the weekend by Enrico Savini, François Jeker, Marcio Meruje and Viriato Oliveira. Or you can also just enjoy this display by Mario...
