Updates of my New and Old Stuff..

Hi IBC,

Let me give you an update of my newly adopted stuff..locally they named it "talonggon or tolonggon" as they may call it, scientific name still in search..some local species of Davao City, i bought it during kadayawan festival in Davao City..
here it is....







...i made some arrangement and repotting as the same time..here is the pot that i choose from



..as you can see, i drained a hole for proper drainage..



..i also made use of different colors of peebles as part of the aesthetic design that im thinking..



..so, now....







..also, here is my old stuff, i just found a suited rock..i think ..as new location..





..lastly comment are well accepted..

looks like Gmelina Exotica for me..nice stuff anyway

Thanks for the info, locals in davao, they said that it close to the family of gmelia exotica-commonly called mulawin daga, but its not. anyway, il try posting it here as soon as, i get a feedback from locals in davao.

thanks,,Actually, with the help of a friend, because i dont have the proper tools to use except the powerdrill, in a very steady and medium motion.

Any news Bro, re the scientific name of that specie of yours?

It will be interesting to see how deep and fast the roots penetrate the different media

Right now, the root is on the 3rd level, i guess the adaptation is quite good using those pieces of stones, the roots breathes well..

Sorry Bon, i still dont have any news from them, i heard the monsoon rains are striking major parts in mindanao area..
