I just finished repotting one of my Ficus Nerifolias about a week ago. It's been put into a 40 year old Tokonome pot.

Greg,
I like your tree and your pot but I am not sure that the two together are the best fit.
Of course the tree will look quite different in the pot when it is in full leaf.

Greg,
While your tree has a fairly rugged trunk, the leaves on this species are small & slender. I think I would prefer it in a lighter colored or more feminine looking pot.
Girl's opinion.

Hi Greg,

Good looking tree.
What's going on with the nebari? Can you expose more of it to get a better taper into the ground.

I feel the pot is too harsh for the tree. Willow Leaf can thrive in shallow pots that make them look more impressive and aged.
