Does anyone have any news about the National Bonsai collection in DC?

Hurricane Sandy? Empty The National Collection after hurricane Sandy...

Post  framor Wed Oct 31, 2012 1:09 am

While the storm was strong and lasted for what seemed an enterity, we suffered little in DC. I live in NW DC and tucked all my trees away in my greenhouse during the storm. We had lots of winds and rain, but DC hasn't suffered like a lot of folks up north. We had upwards of 7" of rain and very strong winds, but both are starting to die down now. I moved my trees back outside today so they could enjoy the last few weeks of fall before being putting them away for winter.

Not sure if Jack had already put the national collection into the Chinese pavillion for winter or not, but even if he hadn't, they should all be fine.

Regards,
Stephen
