I know that yellow is not "in" but I think that the tree happy. He has only a year of development.

What do you mean by " that yellow is not "in" " ? That, yellow colour, isn't the best for a bonsai tree or that yellow leaves are immature ?

I think that it is a variegated variety.

I like the yellow leaves with the pot you selected for this tree. There are many trees grown for their Fall color and yellow is certainly included in the list of Fall colors. I like having something different in my collection during the peak growing season, i.e. some Jap. maples have yellow leaves - A. japonicum, "Aureum" comes to mind.
