This brazilian rain tree is from seed... it was planted in 2006.
The idea is to let it grow at least one more season and then start to look for some nice pots.

Feel welcome to give your opinions

great job. i would let it get more 'bold', with more leaves. update its status when you transplant it to a bonsai pot.

best regards

I noticed they are a 2 kinds of rain trees. The one with the ''rounded'' trunk, more cilindrical and the ''normal'' with more twisted and ''muscular'' trunlk

John, thank for your opinion, indeed the rain trees don't like cold... in the winter, keep it in a green house.

Plecostomus, i've noticed that as well...but i don't think it is due to a "kind" of rain tree...
All the ones that i have, came from seed of one single tree and within them, i have those two types of growth. Curiosly i also have some with thorns and some without them.
