First re pot of the season
First re pot of the season. From a scoop pot into a nice glazed Tokaname.
This was my first bonsai. I've had it for five years now and its very forgiving. In the winter it lives here in the living room. Doesn't do too bad, but as soon as the nights stay above 50, it'll go back outside. The picture of it in the little blue pot is how it looked when I got it 5 years ago.

Will do Billy. I usually re pot early in the spring, then cut back and wire after the tree settles in a bit.
I'm always leery about how far to cut back. I really don't want to loose this tree since it was my first one.
