Re: Unsure juniper chinensis blaww
I'm not sure I can suggest how to improve anything, but you have a bit of a mess in the middle of the tree, and it jumps right out at you. I'd get rid of that stumpy lower-left-hand jin, and you need to work on the roots. The jin will be easiest to fix; cut it off or make it a shorter, broken-off-looking stub. The roots might be easy, too, but I can't see them clearly enough.
I don't know what to do about the middle.

Hy Kingbeam,
For the left lower yin, make it come out more horizontal and natural like Jim mentioned.
For the root work, this will be necessary but i would do that not until mid may.
For the further styling, can you give us a image of the other sides?
regards, Sunip;)

Hy Kingbeam,
It is not a complicated Itogawa or the elegant Kishu Hans Vleugels shows us here,
your juniper has a different character like a steady tree, and needs to be appreciated as it is
then there is potential to take him further.
But like the one from Hans (mind you 1992 till 2011), Juniper takes his time.
Seeing forward to your images.

Nice virtual Loke...a nice, realistic direction for this tree.

Hy Kingbean,
Wow whats your problem now!!
Those images are revealing something interesting.
Loke Emil did a good job there, some nice character is starting to unfold.
The backside has a good nerbari, but the right lower branch is crossing the trunk.
I prefer the left side as in the last virtual from Loke Emil.
See if you can manege something with the roots in spring.(adding some soil at the right side?)
For now you could wire some branches, at least i would try to bend the first branche to the right,
(the one where you started with that thick wire) so it is not pointing straight forward.
Take your time, it is not a styling show, you will find that after a few weeks you can bend a bit further.
The lowest yn would have to be removed in the last option of Loke Emil.
Also do not forget to pinch back the needles in the lower branches so there will be more green near to the trunk.

Thanks a lot for your time guys.
Do you think i should pot in to another pot while training the roots ?

Hy Kingbean,
When you are going for the last virtual of Loke Emil, you have to turn the tree in the pot.
For the coming time the pot is good, but after realizing the further styling in a few years
you will need a different kind of pot, the tree will show you this.
I hope the roots allow you to turn the tree easily.
