cuttings from pruning large premna are rooted in plastic containers, wired and left to grow. when they are of suitable size, I will sometimes combine cuttings with stone. progress pictures of one such planting underway. before pruning and wire mid -Nov. 2009 defoliated and initial wiring 9 months later - Aug 2010. I am doing similar grafting of premma cuttings to old driftwood to make some tanukis. I'll have to make some root over rock also.

have several driftwood premna tanuki started. some big ones. as well as a bunch of rocks of all sizes. someday they'll be worthy.
