After three years, it finally bloomed!
I posted this kusamono last Fall. I have an Asian lily planted in the group and after three years, I have a bloom! I know the placement of the lily is off, but I am tickled that it finally bloomed. Last year, it produced a flower bud, but it fell off... or was eaten off... or something. I think I will repot the group this Fall.

Todd,
Congrats! Hahahaha...what a happy picture it is. Seems your patience over a thousand days and nights paid off well. I love a good story and picture like this - a good pictorial reminder to newbies like myself how important patience would be in this art.
Get a good size print of it and frame that baby!
