Bougainvillea flowering

I was wondering the average time a Bougainvillea stays in flower

All year long, if you are careful and keep it pretty dry.

But, when they bloom, those particular blooms don't stay all year. They fall, and a new bunch arrives. When it does bloom, how long that particular bloom last?

All I can say is "a long time." I've never clocked (or is it calendared?) it, never having thought it mattered.

I was just wondering, because my batch of blooms finally just fell off and I wondered how long others lasted or how long there "suppose" to last.

I think the bracts (the colorful part) hang around a lot longer than the actual flower (small white center). They do hang around for quite a bit. I think, Justin, that yours stayed on for a fairly average period of time, but at this time of year it's interesting you got a flower at all.

My bougie is just starting to leaf out again. I defoliated it about a week ago.
