Got this pot from a friend. He doesn't know where it comes from nor who the maker is.

I have checked the japanesebonsaipots.net database but can't figure out.

Maybe someone recognizes the chop mark??

Maybe you found out already because the post isn't really fresh. But your pot is from Seihou/Tokoname and the chop reads as:
清峰
