Re: Surprise from my kiln
Hi Claudia, and Martin,
yes, the time for us was extremely short, and by 2012 is still very long.
How good that it is the IBC forum, here we can talk and write about bonsai pots.
Regards
Peter

Re: Surprise from my kiln
Hello pot lover
I do not claim to be an artist. This enables me to stay relaxed and make simple, plain pots. The focus in my pottery lies on technical perfection and the expressiveness of my pots should reflect timeless elegance and simplicity.
Only in the pots lies this power and fascination, I as the potter have really no importance.
No matter from which potter you buy a bonsai pot, the customer's vision must reflect in the pot, this is important.
Here are some new pots again from my kiln:
Black clay size:diameter: 36 cm x 23 cm height
Size: diameter: 25 cm x 8 cm height
Size: 15,5 cm x 15,5 cm x 12,5 cm
Size: 42 cm x 32 cm x 6 cm
Best regards
Peter
All pots are hand made without mould and potterwheel
fired to ca. 1220° C

Re: Surprise from my kiln
Peter,
Lovely pots. You have some nice subtleties going on in that oval. I find it VERY suitable for bonsai
Good to see your work again!

Again quite lovely.
Peter, do you fire in an oxidized atmosphere or a reduced one?

Hello dear Heike,
that looks really very good.
I was so sure it is a beautiful play of colours but it looks so vividly and appealing I had not thought pure enjoyment.
Best regards
Peter

Re: Surprise from my kiln
Hi Walter,
This is so amazing, quite old treasures from my early days.
Some pots are certainly already over 20 years old.

Re: Surprise from my kiln
The leaves are falling and they are blown into my window, reflecting the blaze of colour which announces the approaching autumn.
This is a lovely time for pottery. It is a time to breathe out and regain energy for creating new pots.
And if you are attentive, maybe you are visited and kissed by the muse so that you succeed in your work.
Here is something small and cute for the autumn days:
Bat pot - diameter: 13,5 cm x 6 cm height
Brant pot - diameter: 10,5 cm x 5,5 cm
Best regards
Peter
