Lovely pot Peter!
Looks like those crabs are going to be doing some pruning of their own
Btw, the color of this pot works VERY well with the trunk and foliage of the tree.
Very nice,
Rob A.

Hi Peter
Wonderful pictures. Looks like you had a great time at the show. I have fond memories of Lippstadt when I was in Germany for 3 years, many moons ago when I was in the British Army.
Thanks for showing the pictures
Kind regards
Andy

Yes I was, straight out of school and in the Army. Did me the world of good. I spent 3 years out in Germany, amongst other locations, and loved the country, just wish I was into Bonsai Pottery then and I could have gone and visited Peter back in '88
Regards
Andy

Hi Andy,
I did not know that you were three years in Germany.
Lippstadt is not so far away from me, about 200 Km
If you are that next time in Germany, then you come visit me.
regards
Peter

Re: Surprise from my kiln
And this is beautiful:
After a long day of make pots, take a bag with bread, cheese and several bottles of red wine.
Then you go with friends in nature, and watch as the sun goes down.
This is a good time.
Best Regards
Peter

The next time I am in Germany I will definatley come and visit you When I was in Germany I was stationed near Paderborn but travelled a fair bit throught the West Falen area. I learnt some German whilst I was there but only remember some of it now Seeing the wonderful German scenery in your photos brings back wondeful memories

Re: Surprise from my kiln
Hello Peter
This was a far to short meeting at the BFF-summerfestival in Lippstadt. While we were only able to be there on sunday ...the time was short and a lot of old friends and "bonsaibuddies" had a chat with us.
We have only taken a short ....but never the less intense and inspective ....look at your pots. Our chat was quiet short but we promise to do better next time!
Kind regards
Klaudia & Martin
