Re: Follow the line
Hey Law, I like the composition of your trees.... very dreamlike. Ever thought of creating a forest of these?

Re: Follow the line
Tree isn't bad either.
But seriously, everywhere I go in Scotland I see trees with trunks just like that alongside the straighter ones. We tend to use the phrase "not natural" too freely and IMHO Nature is so remarkable precisely because - taking the botany and biology out of it - it doesn't conform to a "style". How boring would it be if all trees in nature looked the same and how boring is it when bonsai all look the same.

General Comment,
Variety is the spice of life.
Too much driftwood, too many besoms, too many anything - yawn.
Later.

Not far out. I even thought that this is how they grow. We have a couple of maples displaying this behaviour at the Botanical gardens in Glasnevin, Dublin. Here are some pics.
Cheers,
Adam

Nice to see you again, Laurent!
I do like your trees but I like your talking much more... but this is a bonsai tree forum, so we spare talking philosophy don't we ?
