I keep finding myself being drawn back to this image, I really like it a lot. I have a Mugo that very well could be adapted to this image and I just might make the move to do so next year.

Nice work...has it gone from a 4 to 6 or 8 hands for moving it? What did you use for the landscape pot?
Cheers

Hello,
a drawing off Erik KRIZOVENSKY

But i don't agree, i think the project for thr tree is too radical .
It will be very difficult to find a artificial rock who look like natural colors, if i don't find it, the tree will be repoted in a oval classic pot unglazed , brown color, with curved edges.

If you are able to develop the image as you have it artistically displayed two things will happen. You will have a very spectacular and beautiful tree and two, you could plant it on a meadow muffin, aka cow pie, and it would still look good.

Personally I would like to see it in a pot because I think (what do I know?) a slab will diminish the powerful image the lower branch puts forward.

i agree you loose the beauty of the tree. maybe you cold get him to design a pot that doesn't involve you loosing half the tree
