I have sowed some larix kaempferi seeds (my timing was late...) and consequently but unfortunately they have not sprouted until now..., well except one which have withered. The seeds had been prepared (for a shorter time than really needed)
Question : if the pot with these seeds is not discarded, will the seeds sprout next spring or they will have roted away?

Thank you.

I voted rotted away. Once seeds are wet they either sprout or rot fairly quickly, depending upon species, of course.
