Anybody heard from Kevin Shen? 80 inches of rain in Taiwan looks like a major mess and disaster. Very scarry news.

Dear All,
South part of Taiwan was damaged a lot by a Typhoon in the past few days.
However some bonsai were hurt, Anyway that will be no problem.
We will recover soon.
10th ASPAC is not influenced by this disaster, the committee are busy
organizing this event.
500 masterpiece bonsai & 300 suiseki will participate
the exhibition.

Lo,
I am very sorry to hear about the mishaps of our bonsai friends in Tainan, Pindong, Kaohsiung and other counties in the southern part of Taiwan. Taiwan always recovers from these events. In the 1998 ASPAC in Taipei and right after the terrible earthquake, the community rose from the ashes and rebuilt their townships stronger than ever. I have confidence that it will be the same.
Welcome to Taiwan!!!
Kind regards,
Jose Luis

Dear all,
Asia Pacific Bonsai and Suiseki Convention and Exhibition was founded by Indonesia in Bali 1991. Since then it has travelled to some Asian countries and accepted as the biggest and best convention in the Eastern world. The 10th ASPAC in Taiwan could be one of the biggest and best in the world.
See you in Taiwan.
