I like to join in, but starting new one OK also. my goal,
was to show Hung what I learned from him,

Hello Hu'ng Trän,
Beautiful stone with strong lines.
I think the stone is placed to low in the basin, it is captivated in your placement,
maybe the sandlevel raised to the rim gives a more free feeling.

NICE! Nice! nice!

Post  stonener on Thu Apr 26, 2012 6:52 pm

Hey Hung you did good my friend!... ThumbsUp
Nice "daiza", use this word because suiseki style,
IMO a little bit darker might be better! softer, quieter.
Nice thickness as Sensei Peter advises, 6-4... Suspect
Nice feet placement as Chris suggest... Suspect
Nice front as Ms Yvonne points out... Suspect
We are all trying to teach, learn,
or just have fun with our rocks!
Thank You for so openly sharing... Basketball

oH! righty then!

Post  stonener on Fri Apr 27, 2012 1:21 am

Yo! Hung!
Now we know for sure!... cyclops
Follow the lines and it will be perfect!
I thought there was a foot at the far right hand side, back,
in the first picture I can see on the foot at the left side, back,
I see he still thinks a little thick, when flat bottom can do thinner.
My friend you did better than I did my first time, I am still not always sure,
but always glad to have help from masters on this forum to guide me,
makes all the difference in the world... Basketball
