Hello, I'm from Italy, and I'm new to this forum.
I would be happy to know what you are thinking about this stone.

Hello Anin60,
Welcome to the forum.
Your stone gives me the image of a pregnant lady.
I also have to think of the work of the sculptor Wotruba.
Maybe the daiza could be a bit smaller, it stops the movement to much?
Is it an Italian stone?
regards, Sunip Wink

Thank you Sunip, I'm agree the daiza is not very good, and I'm thinking to correct it.
Yes, it is an italian stone, it comes from the Appennines mountains, near the city where i live.

Hi Anin60... Welcome to IBC.

Are you also a contributor on the Suiseki Forum (linked HERE) of Napoli Bonsai Club? It is an excellent forum with many contributors discussing Italian stones in Japanese-style.

For me, the stone suggests a female figure half-turned away from the viewer. It could be a Western or Eastern figure. It could be a female Japanese figure.

Are you interested in stones of Japanese-style specifically? It is arguably not in the style of a Japanese human-figure stone because it does not obviously represent a specific & spiritually-elevating human figure. It is a nice figural viewing stone.

Hi Anin60

Welcome to this forum.

I see a lovely modest, maybe shy geisha, with the hair just right. She could be an elder.
The daiza will suit the lady better, if you carve it smaller, more to the japanese taste....

Kind regards Yvonne
