Blue spruce..... and other things Empty Blue spruce..... and other things

Second.... as you all are familiar with my Avocado what pot do you think would stand up to the shattering ability of that plant... don't want to go camping come home and find glass every ware because i forgot my tree was nearing the please cut my roots now point.

A plastic pot is no good... because the only pots i can get here that are plastic.. are flimsy and talk about a plastic pot horror film beware the Avocado now in theaters lol!

Glass well its in glass.

i was thinking of either trying my luck with a thicker glass container... witch would be close to what it has now

or a stone pot. but the problems are with that.... how much is it going to cost my cousins to send me a rock? to plant it in.

Yard is out of the question... i rent.. two.. PA it snows... drops down way past 0 some times... not good for little tree.

now my other question.

first Just a thought... if you had a blue spruce.. a small blue spruce... ( aka pre bonsai... )
what kind of pot would you put it in?

Then later on in life when it earns the bonsai tittle what pot shape and or color do you think would set the blue spruce off ... assuming you shaped it to look like a tiny X mass tree?

Just asking....

on a different note non question related , Going to get some seeds in a few months or so... and after some thought on the matter.

i have decided that i am going to post picks in a thread starting from seed all the way up to the finally...
the life and times of wolfs trees from birth all the way to ... why have i started you, you monster? Stages in its life... another words... a tree diary of sorts

so people wanting to do the same as i ,can... learn form what i have done and to stay clear of my mistakes
( trust me no one is perfect... except for the guy who made the first bonsai he was perfect in his thinking.)

Dear Wolf,
Our members rarely make fun of beginners, but your preconceived ideas do make you vulnerable. I suggest you get some bonsai books out of the library and join the nearest bonsai club. There are some great resources in Pennsylvania.
First of all, an avocado is a nice houseplant, but it will never be a bonsai. A glass pot without a drain hole is rather risky. If you don't like an ordinary plastic pot, go to a large garden center and look at the various pots available. There are more sturdy plastic pots, resin, and ceramic. Since your avocado will eventually require a large pot, I would go with resin or upscale plastic.
A small pre-bonsai Colorado blue spruce belongs in a training pot., such as a large plastic bulb pan. A bulb pan is a pot that is half as high as it is wide. When it is ready for a bonsai pot you use an unglazed one. Why would you shape a bonsai like a Christmas tree? Look in the bonsai books to get some more artistic ideas.
Your idea of a long term thread on the development of seedlings belongs on your own private blog.

I did look at all the forms of blue spruce on line as a bonsai... and i didn't like any of them... non nit.

Second... my poor little Avocado was in a drain pot once... it nearly killed it... second... by no means is an Avocado a houseplant...

As for the seedlings... you didn't catch the bonsai part did you? it doesn't matter i have found a better cite.. with more open minded members.. who think out side of the square box. One of them has a very nice blue berry. As well as many other off the wall plants all wonder full good day.

Guess now no one here will see my progression of a Desert rose, Japanese cheery, Maple, or any other tree from seed on up to the finally bonsai form. At least here.

And as for my own blog I won six cites one of them is a review cite.. good buy and good day.

Yup!

Sometimes this forum is rude. but you got to stay to prove your point. otherwise you'll give validity to the rudeness.

It wouldn't have been spelled correctly if you did find it. Some people need a therapist, not a forum.

Translator?

Let me translate this in my humbly capacity........

it says......"hello" ....to IBC

Some very new members to the forum have this tendency to over complicate their "initial" greetings. probably this is because some people and visitors tend to think that since too many experts are residing in this forum- "Wow Walter Pall is here"- "Gee! Masters of Asia Robert Steven and Budi are here" etc..."the different Master piece of bonsai" are all over this site too!... the only way to get integrated is to sound like one too. Which should not be the case. IMHO

...in return the only respond you'll get are not the nice ones. and several ridicules on top of it.

regards,
jun Smile
