silver birch

Hello,

Im bonsai begginer and I would like to know, if it is possible to make a bonsai from this silver birch (Betula pendu

It is 5 years old, cca 1,2m high.
Which techniques should I use?

According to Walter Pall, B. pendula makes excellent bonsai. However, birch is not the easiest tree to work with for a beginner. Start with a juniper or maple. If you are not near a bonsai club, get some bonsai books out of the library.
