It is only found in Arizona and New Mexico primarily. In fact this tree is actually a hybidized Jutah juniper and is 500+ years old. I understand that Ryan Oneal recently said that the One Seeds and the Rocky Mountain junipers were his upcoming preferred species (I may have his quote off a little bit). This tree was initialy found in 2001 and styled in the ground beginning in 2005 and the large roots were cut at the base of the trunk each of the next 4 years with alot of weekly and watering and changing out the soil medium over the years to grow roots under the trunk. It began as a 7 foot tree. The tree is a female and has a very tight folliage with berry like seeds. I did not reduce any of the folliage when I collected it and it was potted in totally inorganic soil.
