HELP! FUKIEN TEA TREE IN DANGER! Empty HELP! FUKIEN TEA TREE IN DANGER!

Hello, it has been a while since I posted, and it is good to be back. I can not post picture right now, but will later. My Fukien Tea has small, furry, white bugs that are producing a spider web like substance. They congregate around branch beginnings, and have not progressed over the entire tree yet. What are they, hoe do I get rid of them, and how do I prevent them?

Thank you, Briddell

Those are woolly aphids or -- if they can fly -- white flies. They could be mealy bugs.

In any event a soap spray once a week for 2-3 weeks will get rid of them. Be sure to spray the critters themselves, as the spray has to contact th critters directly.

With one tree I would just remove them by hand or use tweezers.
