Ficus Shaping/Mame
Hi all!
It has been a while!! I am at a loss of what to do with this cutting of a ficus Retusa I have. The bottom trunk is thick and I really like it but I haven't a clue what to do next. Any help would be fantastic! Thank you!! Hope the pictures are enough! Let me know if there needs a different view!! Very excited to figure out what to do with this!

in spring transplant it into a larger pot with bonsai soil and let it grow for another 3-4 years, potting up when needed.

I too would just let it grow. Also, don't plan on growing this as a mame, as retusa leaves don't reduce down to that size. Even shohin is a bit difficult to achieve with these...

Thank you both for your quick responses! I appreciate it. I will definitely rethink what I want to do with it then!
