I bought this Redwood about 10 years ago from a seller in Northern California who had access to a secret location where there are naturally stunted Redwoods. VERY rare! The height of this one including the Shigaraki pot is about 13 inches.

Well Dave, trees, and therefore bonsai take many forms, shapes, and sizes. I accept your view that it isn't "a tree or bonsai-------". However, others see it differently. This is good. Your view and other views are important. Every art form has those that love it, those that hate it and those that couldn't care less one way or another. So let it be with bonsai.
Question: What about my avatar? There are some who don't see it as bonsai, and many others that do. Rolling Eyes
I hope we hear many more opinions. Good learning process.

Mike,

I think the photo need to be clearer...maybe more light and another background? The soil is red and the pic looks overly processed. A shot from different side would also help. If I am seeing this right, you have mostly dead wood?
