On 28 febr. 2010 David Brunner had a post about a skull image stone,
here Chris came up with the story of the poet Ono no Komachi.
Thinking of the Japanese habit of naming stones sometimes more specific,
i could maybe name this stone after the poet Ono no Komachi?
Referring to the story where a passerby heard a poem coming from a skull lying on the ground.
The skull belonged to the poet, and the passerby took care of it.
If understood good i imagine, such a name leaves all space for further evocation?

Hi Sunip

I see a sad, slightly surpriced skull of an infant. It has the same hartbreaking expressin off mumies of infants found now and then.
The idea of a poetskull is nice. But this story would have needed a more mature skull.

Kind regards Yvonne

Noh Dancer - Page 2 Empty DEEP INSPIRATION

Hey Sunip! What say you?
I think I found a Noh Dancer?
Was so moved by yours that I had it in the back of my mind!
While in the river, deep in the center, dark shinny deep green colored stone!
bent over to grab it and when head over heels, flipped over, heavy backpack.
panicked under water face up, cut off backpack with pocket knife, gasping for air!... affraid
water rushing fast, floated down stream to near by bank, rested 30mins,
then went back for pack & stone seen!... Suspect
it's jade, river polished, 7x6x4"

Hello Stonener,
I am impressed reading your story and i am sending you a stone bowing to that.
I love those jade stones, this one has a dancing quality,
however that dance did you do forget the strong spring current and took you almost to the other side?
