Hi all
Today I worked around the last tree in 2011. Very Happy
Tree we worked as a seminary-tree. I think that the base composition is very good.

Nice gentle transition there Pavel. This is potentially a great tree, with a nice new pot and a few years care, it'll look great!

That trunk has got some great movement and taper.

Thanks again for sharing.

Hi Pavel,
I have looked at this tree a few times now and I'm not sure if i like that bottom branch. To me i like the image without it. I would not usually comment on your designs but this one just kept bothering me. Very Happy

I love the rest of the design.

I'm with you, Smithy, it bothers me also. I think the problem is the disconnect between the movement in the trunk, and lack of movement in the branches. Look carefully at the last 3 picutres, that mass of foliage is actually 3 branches, and one comes out of the front of the tree. The lowest one is just too long and straight, and seems out of place.

I don't think you're quite there yet, Pavel.

Hi Smithy and Russell
Thank you very much for yours constructive response. Yes, right bottom is the three branches. Distorts the picture a bit. Lower Long Branch has a fine profile. Yes, it is necessary to highlight. All this can be adjusted, but I think that the concept remains the same. Thanks for the comments. Very Happy ThumbsUp

After watching Pavel at work on a number of trees and listening to live translations, I understand now a little bit about how he feels. I know that branch looks out of place now, but this is just a first styling and the future image is all important.

A tree that looks "finished" after the first styling may well have lost one of its main character points...

For me it was that the image looks like an old tree that i would see alot of . Big mature old oak tree . I know its not an Oak but thats what the image reminds me of, but i never see that kind of tree like that with cascade branch lower than the tree. I know Pavel will have some plan but i like the the image without that branch . Just preferences really.

OK, then I guess it's just me but first styling or not, I'd like to see some movement in the branches that reflects the movement in the trunk.

The second styling might be better. Hi Russell, I agree with a larger movement branches.
