My First Tofukuji JR. Pot

I finally got my first Tofukuji Jr. pot, and I am amazed by the quality. I will let the pictures do the talking:

Nice pot. Please don't put a siberian elm in it. Appreciate it for simply being a nice and collectible pot. Wait until you have a mature and suitable tree that "needs" it.

Neil, this is a pot that I admire it for what it is, without any tree in it. Even if I had a mature tree suitable for this pot, it may only be put in it for a show (spanning a couple days).

I am not entirely sure what you meant by a Siberian Elm in particular, but maybe a Chinese Elm might work. I do however use some of my quality pots for training purposes as an attempt to build patina. Sometimes, when I cannot use a tree to train in it, I put it under my benches for them to get dirt, water, sun, fertilizer and other outdoor elements that may help build patina (the only thing I try to clean is lime scale).

Ofcourse... this Tofukuji Jr. pot is far more precious to me to put it outside for any length of time. It is and will be sitting in a safe place indoors.

Thanks Chris. When you look at it closer, you will notice two different textures of finish and not just different glazes. Tofukuji Jr. was a genius.

Below are the dimensions. I have another Tofukuji Jr. pot that I am trying to sell but that has a more uniform thick glaze than this one.
