Trying to find these plastic pots

Can anyone in the uk tell me where I can get hold of these pots the size i want is.

75mm accross the top and 65mm deep they are made out of flexible plastic and have one drainage hole in the bottom
They also have the number 75 printed on the side I think the one I had comes from japan as it looks like some japanese character on the
Recycling label.

It would be handy to know what you plan to use them for so we could at least suggest alternatives if no-one can answer your question.

I'd have to say it looks like a singularly underwhelming bit of plastic to me but I'm willing to be persuaded otherwise. So, what is the attraction of this particular pot?

Googling for plastic nursery pots results in hundreds of places. AFIK one plastic nursery pot is as good as another.

Kingbean's question had me googling a fair few UK sites to no avail. My nursery owner friend suggests that pots of the dimensions quoted are more often found in six-pack plant carry trays, but he'd never seen one like that in the picture.

Would also be interested to know how you came by your one, Kingbean.

There seem to be a coupe of "style" pots in his pictures -- one with vertical sides and one with slanting sides.

Both have one hole in the bottom -- a drainage problem in pots with no feet. Most US nursery pots of this ilk have several holes around the base of the pot -- a problem when you try to keep soil from washing out the bottom.

I know I'm old school and still work in inches and may have made an arithmetical fox paw here, but... are those pots not a bit bigger than the size he's looking for? Smallest on that page (as far as I can see) is 1litre which is around twice the size KB quoted.

As I said, my nursery manager pal says 75mmx65mm is the size you'd find in six-pack trays of small "starter" plants - the sort of thing he uses as a first stage pot up of plugs in the nursery.

He's also suggesting China may be the manufacturing source which might explain the character Kingbean saw on the label.

Hi fiona I think your right about china, the pot come from bonsai focus netherlands it had a juniper whip in it.
I need 100 pots of this size for seedlings.
I like the pot because I beleive they would be cheap and long lasting and has a single drainage hole plus is flat at the bottom of the pot
As some pots have steps in the bottom.

I thought it might be for seedlings. Bulk order nursery pots are easy and cheap to do in the UK - particularly if you know someone in the nursery trade who can get them wholesale. Might be tricky getting that exact one but you can easily get that size in economy black plastic flat-bottomed square pots. They often (bit not always) come as part of a set with carry trays which makes moving them about and keeping like seedlings together a lot easier. I'm looking at one such pot I have kicking around the greenhouse as we speak and it has only one base hole.

Might be worth your while trawling the online trade warehouses - a lot of them now realise the advantage of selling bulk to the public too.
