Trident maple superfeeding?

Anyone have a good regimen for trident maple seasonal superfeeding? Would it also apply for japanese maples or do they go crazy for something else?

I am growing out some tridents and japanese maples in-ground, as well as from seed, and I want to either amend my raised bed soil or add fertilizer as they grow to get them to grow the fastest possible. I figure high nitrogen amendments, etc would do the trick but is there something specific that these maples react the best with?
