Chojubai first potting Empty Chojubai first potting

Here's a little dwarf japanese quince that is about 6 years from a cutting, going into a bonsai pot for the first time. Nice trunk for a chojubai. This should be sweet in a couple of years.

I love chojubai. I have a few in the singular trunk style but prefer the clump style. My most impressive trunk is a white for diameter (2 inches) but have a red not too far behind. My oranges ( new color) are just two years old and just getting started. Have found it really difficult to find older subjects and usually end up making starts.
