I have them too,
Apparently you can have free web hosting with no catches, & no adds, no bull.
Maybe we should switch!

Mick, this site should be free from ads of any sort so the current situation is a glitch which no doubt Kev is working on as we speak.

I myself was active on the froum last night when whatever it was that went wrong occurred. I was flitting from topic to topic and one minute there were no ads and the next they were there.

Occasionally with forumotion the brown stuff ventures too close to the ventilation systems. Hopefully we will get this one ironed out quickly.

Hi Fiona,
I seen the adds last night aswell but did not know if they were there the whole time or not, I thought I would look stupid if I mentioned it and they were so I said nothing.
I probably would not care if they were bonsai adds or adds for nurseries instead of dating sites.

The ads I am seeing are specific to my region, country, etc. A local lawyer who advertises on local TV a lot, AARP which is an organization/insurance company for older Americans, etc.

You lucky beggar - I'm getting the garden centres and bonsai nurseries. Guess that's us both typecast then, Mick. Wanna swap?

Thanks guys and gals. Just back from work and saw the ads, so I've spent a quarter of our available credits to remove them again.
" The ads are disabled for your members and guests until 10 Nov 2012."

3 further years ad free are available, before we have to start buying credits with available funds (or asking for donations).

Thanks for your understanding, your happy Admin
